The daily exfoliation, as a single pad in which overdosing is technically impossible. The first acid in the declaration is tranexamic acid, not salicylic acid: this peel targets the traces that remain after the blemishes, not the sebum.

The loosened horny layer is the reason why toner, gel and emulsion get through afterwards at all. The ceramide balances what the acid costs.
